Black Forest Trails Addendum Advisory Committee
On April 9, 1998, the Board of County Commissioners appointed a 10-member Citizens' Advisory Committee for the purpose of preparing an addendum to the Black Forest Preservation Plan Update (1987) dealing strictly with the issue of multi-purpose trails. This subject was not fully evaluated in the original Plan. After several Committee and public meetings, a final recommendation was made to the County Planning Commission in 1999.
The Planning Commission adopted the Trails Addendum to the Black Forest Preservation Plan Update as an element of the County's Master Plan on June 15, 1999.
