El Paso County Board of Adjustment
The Board of Adjustment is a Board of five voting members which considers physical variances for properties. Any appeal of their decision is to the District Court.
The Board of Adjustment meets on the second Wednesday of each month. In addition to the monthly meeting, members are encouraged to visit the sites and review written Comments prior to each meeting. The agenda for the current month is available approximately one week prior to the meeting.
Meetings, which begin at 9:00 a.m., are normally held in the Hearing Room, Second Floor, Pikes Peak Regional Development Center, 2880 International Circle, Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Members of the Board of Adjustment are appointed by the Board of County Commissioners. Associate Members serve one-year terms and may be reappointed innumerable times. Regular Members serve three-year terms and may serve a maximum of two terms. Terms usually expire in May and vacancies are advertised in the Gazette as well as on the County's website . The Board of Adjustment is governed by adopted Bylaws and Roberts' Rules of Order.
