     The Development Services Department Mission is to reinforce a culture of customer service which will provide a project-oriented system where all staff ensures that a project progresses through review and is constructed in compliance with County Codes and appoint a Point-of-Contact or Project Manager to be the primary interface for communicating with customers and appropriate staff. Point-of-Contacts or Project Managers will utilize teams compristed of technical review staff to coordinate reviews, make interpretations, and resolve conflicts within review requirements.

    The Department will retain use of specialists from each discipline to perform the technical review and project approvals; ensure the system is flexible enough to bring the appropriate level of assistance and staffing to respond to projects; provide adequate training for staff; offer stakeholders opportunities for training regarding their roles, and the timing and scope of their participation in the development review process; and encourage strong communication links between the Point-of-Contact and affected community groups on specific projects.
