Q.     How do I check on the status of my application?

A.     In order to check the status of your application you must contact the department for which the job was posted.

Q.     Can I fax or email my application?

A.      We accept applications by mail, fax, email or in person.  The application must be complete to be considered.  Resume only submissions will not be accepted.  Deputy Sheriff applications will only be accepted by mail or in person.  The application must be sent as an attachment in an email using the Microsoft Word or Adobe format.  The applications can be downloaded from this website.  Please send a separate application for each position you wish to apply for. All applications can be sent to employment@elpasoco.com

Q.      Do you accept late applications?

A.      We do not accept late applications.  Please ensure your application is in our office on the closing date and time noted on the posting.  Until Filled job postings may close without advanced notice, but will be open for at least 5 business days.

Q.     Will I receive a confirmation for an emailed application?

A.     Yes.  After the application is processed you will receive a confirmation email.

Q.      How do I file an unemployment claim?

A.       Unemployment claims can be filed through the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment. 1-800-388-5515
