This facility processed 913 repair orders an average of 304 per Technician in 2006. The Calhan facility supports mostly heavy equipment like Tandem Dump Trucks, Graders, Loaders, and Dozers. This is also an aging fleet and requires a great deal of detailed care to keep them up and running.

2 Fuel Pumps with window wash stations.

 

1 Field Service Truck: This is used to handle any equipment faults that occur while the equipment is performing its daily mission. This vehicle is equipped with an 800mhz radio that keeps the technician in contact with the Shop Foreman.

 

Citizens Used Oil Tank- 500 gallon convault type reservoir for the use of El Paso County Citizens to dispose of their used engine, transmission, and hydraulic oil.
