Special Events
Special Events are defined as any activities other than “regular picnicking”. Some examples are groups over 200, fundraising events, day camps, picnics involving dunk tanks or bounce houses, weddings on fields and walks/runs on trails. When making your reservation you will be asked a series of questions to help Park Staff determine if your event is a Special Event. If it is determined your event is a Special Event the following may apply.
A Special Event Request Form must be submitted to El Paso County Parks for all special event permits no later than 30 calendar days prior to the desired event date.
An on-site meeting must be completed no later than two (2) weeks prior to the event.
All Special Events will be charged the regular reservation fee for the facility(s) being used plus the respective Special Event fee.
A damage deposit is required for all Special Events.
All Special Events require a Certificate of Insurance.
